COOBER PEDY
We heard a lot of stories about Cooper Pedy! And I was very curious to see it with my own eyes. We had to drive quite a bit from Uluru to Cooper Pedy. We arrived late afternoon at our underground cave hotel!! Normally it’s so hot in the desert that you have to sleep underground to keep cool. That day it was not that hot as usual but we still had a very cool experience of sleeping underground!
We wanted to see a bit more of this little village before dinner! So we took the car for some exploration instead of walking, cause we didn’t had a lot of time, because all of the restaurants close really early.
We stopped at really cool views and classic Cooper Pedy spots! I liked the art gallery, with the old VW Van and the vantage point with a view all over Cooper Pedy! It was stunning to see this little village lying in the desert with the sun coming down.
I totally loved the Cooper Pedy sign! Haha it reminds me of the famous Hollywood sign! It is so cool they have their own sign and we could get very close! Disregarding that we didn’t have a lot of time to explore we had a perfect impression of the village and I loved it!
