We stayed for 2 nights in Adelaide in such an amazing hotel in the middle of the City. The first day we walked a bit around and visited a few places for a drink and dinner! The second day we went to City Life church and after we went for lunch to the beach at Glenelg. A cozy place with a lot of restaurants. We were all, specially me, very tired so the rest of the day I slept in my hotel room.
In the evening we had pizza in the lobby and talked through my next travel step. I truly didn’t know what to do and searched for overseas jobs, projects, missions. But every time when I reached out I found a closed door. I prayed and tried to make a plan on paper. It took until the next morning that the schedule on paper felt like it made sense. It gave me a lot of peace and I showed it to my parents to ask their opinion. They confirmed that they felt it was the best option. So that’s how I continued with the new plan to go home for a while, work three months, travel 3 months, work three months and travel again till new year 2020. It’s an awesome plan but I am not sure if I will travel again for such a long period. I will take it day by day! Also my budget has a say in how long traveling is possible.
I concluded I had to go home for a while and have some rest in one place instead of always being on the move. After I made the decision we booked my ticket home with a 3 day break in Dubai. Also one of my bucketlist places! So that was exciting as well.
We continued our trip to Mount Gambier and found an amazing volcano crater with beautiful blue water in it! When we arrived at our next sleeping place we had booked a little house and the number was 14! That is my house number in the Netherlands. That evening we went out for dinner in a restaurant and we sat at table number 14! Like WHAT!?? Is God confirming my decision? It felt so cool!
Okay I will tell you a little spoiler alert what happened later in time! When we took our flight back from Dubai to home we departed from gate 14! Third time lucky!! I have never felt so much peace about a decision I definitely didn’t wanted to make a few weeks earlier! God guided me.
