The Mahayana beach front villas are truly a dream come true! I had the privilege to photograph this lovely couple at this stunning intimate beach resort. Truly a romantic place for a tropical get away! Sandy toes, ocean breeze & salty kisses. What else can we wish for?
Sebastian, Alice and I met in the early morning on Tulum beach for our sunrise shoot. The sky turned into an amazing canvas of beautiful romantic colours and in 15 min the whole scenery changed into a big tropical rain storm! We hide for 20 min and continued our shoot partly in the rain. Since I already had the idea of ending the shoot into the ocean it didn’t matter if they would get wet by the rain. I love it when things just happen authentically as they are and being framed in that moment. It felt like a romantic scene out of the movies where two loved ones enjoy each others company in the rain.
It was such a beautiful day creating with power couple Reimo & Annelena for clothing brand Omnia Tulum. I love it when I have the opportunity to try new things, think outside of the box and be creative in different ways. See here the results of our shooting at Vesica Tulum.
So wonderful to capture the pure joy of expecting! This lovely couple didn’t knew until the end of the pregnancy if they were getting a boy or girl. It was so pure to see the love in their eyes when they talked about their unborn baby. It is so fully welcome, very loved and a answered prayer!
I can now tell you guys that they received a cute baby boy and are over the moon!
This lovely couple comes from the United States. I saw them on the street in Croatia and directly saw the special love connection they have. I spontaneously asked if I could take some photos of them.

I’m a big fan of photographing adventurous moments! So I got very excited when Bart wanted to do a portrait surf session during sunset! Magical light, awesome setting and perfect weather! I was in my happy place and couldn’t stop taking photo’s.

That’s how I came up with the idea to create this kind of shoot myself. I asked the beautiful Carmen to collaborate and she was very excited about the concept. She lives near Bloemendaal so that’s where we met on the stunning beach! On the beach is a surfschool / rental station Surfana and they where very helpful! We were able to rent their surfboard even after closing time so we could shoot during sunset. I love the sunset lighting! Everything came together thanks to the collaboration with the amazing people of Surfana and lovely model Carmen. Go check out the results yourself!
