One of my big wishes is to photograph a wedding abroad. Last summer I took a wedding dress with me on my road trip through Croatia and spontaneously asked this beautiful lady from my apartment complex to model. Look how fantastic it is to photograph a bride in such a unique setting. My heart beats faster from the combination of love and adventure.
Embrace, love and celebrate your body. Something that is not always naturally these days. More often we are focused on our imperfections. While we are beautiful as we are! It was so special to photograph this serie in which Shirley consciously chose to capture herself in a vulnerable, powerful and feminine setting. Part of a beautiful process of loving, fully accepting and celebrating her true beauty.
So wonderful to capture the pure joy of expecting! This lovely couple didn’t knew until the end of the pregnancy if they were getting a boy or girl. It was so pure to see the love in their eyes when they talked about their unborn baby. It is so fully welcome, very loved and a answered prayer!
I can now tell you guys that they received a cute baby boy and are over the moon!

Wow I am so proud and grateful for this beautiful couple! My own brother and sister-in-law. They said yes to each other and as a sister I was allowed to photograph all morning. From the getting ready moment, first look, photo shoot and a few atmospheric images at the party location. The rest of the day my dear colleague photographer Tamara took over so that I could also celebrate this great day myself. Such a special day!
The big day of Robert and Annemarte has arrived. This beautiful bride and groom start their wedding day completely relaxed and radiant. This pleasant atmosphere was present all day long. It is such a pure and unique love that these two have for each-other. It was a perfect celebration of love!
The perfect way to celebrate and capture family love is to photograph this in a spontaneous and casual setting. For example during a fun outdoor family adventure! Dancing with mom, chasing your siblings, lots of hugs and kisses, Happy birthday songs and a lovely picknick. During this shoot there where so many beautiful authentic family moments.
I’m a big fan of photographing adventurous moments! So I got very excited when Bart wanted to do a portrait surf session during sunset! Magical light, awesome setting and perfect weather! I was in my happy place and couldn’t stop taking photo’s.

To hear what they already feel for their new son, so full of love, joy and curiosity of how he will look like! It was an amazing evening with the sun setting slowly behind the trees en and having this lovely couple in front of my lens radiating so much love and happiness!
This awesome couple went on a romantic urban date in the lovely city of Rotterdam! … and I was there to capture the event. Hands up for these two amazing girls! Emma and Sophie wanted to be my models for a new concept I wanted to shoot. It wasn’t summer yet and the evenings were pretty cold, but they didn’t complain when getting into the water at night! It was freezing but they went all the way to get the most stunning setup! I’m extremely happy with the results ready to share with the world. Go check it out!
I love to capture adventurous people and couldn’t wait to photograph a surf session!
That’s how I came up with the idea to create this kind of shoot myself. I asked the beautiful Carmen to collaborate and she was very excited about the concept. She lives near Bloemendaal so that’s where we met on the stunning beach! On the beach is a surfschool / rental station Surfana and they where very helpful! We were able to rent their surfboard even after closing time so we could shoot during sunset. I love the sunset lighting! Everything came together thanks to the collaboration with the amazing people of Surfana and lovely model Carmen. Go check out the results yourself!

In collaboration with the kids department and Culture Campsite we did an amazing kids fashion shoot.
Roos, the mom of the boys took care of the new winter collection of the kids department
plus some cool sets that she bought herself as a fashion mom! We were allowed to take pictures on the unique camping location: Culture Campsite in Rotterdam. Here you can spend the night in various art objects. For example in the Val Ross object made by mudprojects. This was Bor and Magnus their favorite photo spot.
They thought it was a rocket that took them to the moon.

Last year I had the privilege to photograph the baby announcement of Dennis, Linda and Sam!
Today was the big day that I got to meet and photograph their two-week old daughter Moon.
A beautiful girl who slept peacefully in the beginning and woke up a little later and was enjoying the whole shoot with all the attention and hugs she received. She was completely beaming.

A summer wedding festival is a dream for many brides and grooms!
This did become a reality for Dora & Jan Pieter. They are passionate about festivals and have visited many with their own home made food truck De Krappe hap. This truck got a very special purpose at their wedding day. The ceremony and the church service took place in this unique food truck.
It became the place where Jan Pieter and Dora said I DO to each other.
It was a very special and precious day with all of their loved ones celebrating with them.
A wonderful day that they will never forget!
A little while ago I posted on my instagram a contest to win a photoshoot. Dennis and Linda were the lucky ones that won the free photoshoot of their dreams. But I felt really lucky too when I heard they wanted a pregnancy announcement/family-shoot. I was so excited to help them create a beautiful picture to share the big news with their family and friends. We decided to meet at the Biesbosch, a lovely place with lots of green and water! During a family shoot I like to create mini adventures, so I have the chance to take unforced and natural pictures. It's like I’m not even there and the parents just have fun with their kid. Sam was really excited about going on an adventure. We found an amazing wooden tipi made of branches! He could play with his mom and dad in the tipi and in front of it, he even helpt moving a big branch so he could sit on it with his parents to laugh and cuddle with them. After that we went walking to a big open field with grass and some lovely trees. We created a picknick setting where they could just chill and have some family time. It was amazing to see the natural love between the parents and the child. Sam tried to scare his parents, which led to wonderful moments of laughter! They also whispered funny things in each others ears, and I captured pure and funny moments! I loved to be the fly on the wall with my camera to capture all of these wonderful and magical moments that were happening right in front of me. The biggest and most exciting moment was of course when we could light-up the blue and pink smoke rods to announce the coming baby! We had 90 seconds to create the right image! I had the honour of capturing two beautiful souls! When Francien and I drove by the fair, I told her about my wish to do a couple shoot at this location! She was excited and told me her boyfriend Tim Thijs was coming to Harderwijk. They were more then happy to help. I couldn’t be more pleased when we met the next day. Go check out my dream shoot.
